Born on November 8, 1966 in Rockingham, VT, I was raised in that same
small rural town with my mother, father and my older sister. After high
school, in 1984, I began my career working in the electrical field as an
apprentice for Baker Shepard Electrical Service in Brattleboro, VT. As I
began to study the electrical trade under my mentor Wayne Shepard, I
immediately learned attention to detail, efficiency, and neatness in my craft.
I have Wayne to thank for giving me a great start in the trade. In 1987 I moved to
Massachusetts to expand my opportunities in the electrical Field. I worked full
time and went to school in Springfield, MA for my formal training to become a
licensed electrician. By June of 1989 I had successfully completed all the requirements
for the journeyman's Licensure in the State of Massachusetts. I started my business,
RW Odette Electrical Service, in 1989. I completed my schooling and earned my Masters
electricians license in 1990. That same year I relocated the business to Hatfield, MA,
where I continue to live and operate my business today. In 2004 we built a new shop for
the business at the Hatfield location.
